Clear Mountain Bank officials have announced that Terry D. Reed, attorney at Hymes and Coonts PLLC, has joined the bank’s community advisory board.
Reed has practiced law for more than 46 years with Hymes and Coonts PLLC, located in Buckhannon, West Virginia, specializing in real estate and banking law. He is a Fellow of the West Virginia Bar Foundation and a member of the American Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, and West Virginia State Bar.

The board, comprised of local community leaders from Harrison and Upshur counties, was formed in 2019 to enable the bank to provide the best service it can to the communities it serves.
A native of Buckhannon, Reed attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and obtained his BS degree in economics and went on to study law and receive his law degree from the South Texas College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate.
Reed joins a well-known group of community leaders currently serving on the bank’s community advisory board. They are James Denny, CPA (chairperson), Director at The Rodeheaver Group, PC; Susan Deniker (past chairperson), an attorney at Steptoe & Johnson; Reverend Dr. Ken Ramsey, senior pastor at Bridgeport United Methodist Church; Chad Riley, P.E., CEO of The Thrasher Group; Dustin B. Vincent, P.E., senior project manager at MarkWest Energy Partners; and Dr. Jaclyn Rominger DDS, owner of Rominger Dental.

Reed is passionate about civic activities and currently serves as chairman of the Upshur County Building Commission; director of the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation; and member of the Buckhannon Upshur Chamber of Commerce. He also served as former chairman of the Upshur County Sheriff’s Civil Service Commission
and is a former member of the Buckhannon Rotary Club, Tennerton Lions Club, Upshur County Development Authority, and the West Virginia State Election Commission.
