The Brian F. Thomas Community Service Award was founded in honor of Clear Mountain Bank’s former president and CEO, the late Brian F. Thomas. The award is designed to recognize the bank employee who best exemplifies Brian’s vision for and commitment to community service and philanthropy. Nominated by work colleagues or self, the recipient must demonstrate a selfless devotion to community service and volunteerism serving his/her community and local organizations over his/her lifetime.
“I’m pleased to announce Jeff as the recipient of this year’s Brian F. Thomas Community Service Award,” said David Thomas, president and CEO of Clear Mountain Bank. “Jeff has dedicated countless hours guiding our youth in Preston County and serving the community in so many ways. His commitment to volunteerism goes above and beyond expectation. I know that Brian would be proud of Jeff’s exemplary level of community service and would be honored that Jeff is receiving this award.”
Jenkins has received a $500 monetary gift from the bank in recognition of his efforts. Additionally, the bank has made a $500 donation to his chosen charitable organization, Food for Preston, which works to eliminate substandard housing and provide safe, affordable homes in Preston, Monongalia and Marion counties.
