Clear Mountain Bank officials have announced that Dr. Christopher S. Goode, MD, FACEP has joined the bank’s Community Advisory Board.
Goode is the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine for the WVU School of Medicine and is also Assistant Vice President of Emergency Medicine for the West Virginia University Health System.
He joins a well-known group of leaders currently serving on the Community Advisory Board that includes James Denny, Susan Deniker, Reverend Dr. Ken Ramsey, Dustin B. Vincent, Dr. Jaclyn Rominger, DDS, Terry Reed, and Dr. Frank Grindo. The Community Advisory Board was formed in 2019 to provide guidance and advice to Clear Mountain Bank as it expands its footprint in the North Central/Central region of the State.
Currently, Dr. Goode is active with the Board of the West Virginia American College of Emergency Physicians where he previously served as president for three years and also serves as the chair of the Political Action Committee. He also serves on the board of directors for HealthNet Aeromedical Services, Monongalia Emergency Medical Services, Harrison County Emergency Squad, Healthy Harrison, Health Partners Network Inc., and the United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties. Additionally, he serves on the Harrison County Emergency Ambulance Authority, WV State Medical Association Executive Committee, and City of Bridgeport Emergency Services Council. Goode also holds an appointment to the Governor’s SANE Commission and serves on the WVHA EDIE Task Force.
Nationally, Goode serves as a Counselor for the WV Chapter of ACEP and previously served on the national Bylaws Committee for the American College of Emergency Physicians, as well as numerous other committees and task forces.

Goode is a native West Virginian who attended East Bank High School in Kanawha County, completed medical school at Marshall University, and did his Emergency Medicine residency at WVU. He resides in Bridgeport with his wife and two sons.
