Clear Mountain Bank has announced that Tim Stout has been named Vice President of Regional Development. In this role, Stout will be responsible for identifying customer relationship opportunities and providing support and guidance to help bank team members develop and grow those relationships in the central and north central West Virginia markets."This is a new position for our bank, and we are pleased to have Tim leading the charge to help the bank continue to grow in Harrison County and further expand into the central region of West Virginia,” states David M. Thomas, president and CEO for Clear Mountain Bank.
Stout has more than 30 years of experience in banking and commercial lending and joined the Clear Mountain Bank team in 2015 as Vice President of Commercial Lending.
“Tim has played a key role in the bank’s growth and success in the Harrison County market, including the establishment of our loan production office in 2015, the opening of our full-service branch in 2018, and the assembly of our community board in 2019. We are grateful for all that he has done to help us establish a strong presence in Harrison County, and we have great confidence that he will continue to help us grow and expand in his new role,” Thomas added.
A graduate of Fairmont State University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and is also a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking, the East Carolina Commercial Lending School, and the Charleston National Bank School of Compliance and Lending.
He currently serves on the board of directors for Harrison County Economic Development Corporation and the Bridgeport Rotary, and he is active with several community organizations, including Harrison County United Way, Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, and Pete Dye Golf Club. A native of Flatwoods, he has resided in Bridgeport since 1993.
