Bruceton Mills, WV, November 14, 2024—Clear Mountain Bank is pleased to announce that it has surpassed 5,000 hours of community service through its Clear Mountain Cares initiative.
Clear Mountain Cares, launched in 2017, is an initiative that supports Clear Mountain Bank team members spending paid time off to do community service in the areas the bank serves. During the program’s 7-year history, Clear Mountain Bank team members have volunteered to serve over 120 organizations, including local schools, hospitals, food pantries, the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and many more. The program is designed to give team members the flexibility to serve causes that they are passionate about, which makes the experience more personal and allows the bank to support a wide variety of organizations.
The Garrett County Habitat for Humanity, is one example of the many organizations helped by the Clear Mountain Cares program and extended its appreciation for the bank’s volunteer efforts.
"Clear Mountain Bank is an integral partner with Garrett County Habitat for Humanity,” said Steve Bortz, executive director of the Garrett County Habitat for Humanity. “[Those] great folks have helped build countless homes over these many years. We truly appreciate your support and devotion.”
This year, Clear Mountain Bank set a goal of 750 volunteer hours for the program, and with a few months remaining, that goal is well within its reach.
